    Kath Rhodes patient & volunteer of Cavendish Cancer Care is looking forward to collecting her new 4 week old Cockapoo puppy at the end of August, when he is ready to be part of her family. Owning a puppy has long been part of her plan to enjoy life with two cancer related illness. Now she wants you to help name her new puppy, all you need to do is text DOGG15 and the amount you wish to donate (£2/£5/£10) to 70070 completing the gift aid declaration so we know the donation is from you.

    Cavendish supporter, Mark Green, is running a whopping 2015 miles for us in 2015! We're sure you'll agree that's quite some distance... here he tells us why: Running 2,015 miles in 2015? I must be mad! I only took up running 18 months ago as a way to keep fit, and last December I thought to myself: ‘Well, I might as well use it to do a bit of good.’ I chose to support Cavendish Cancer Care in memory of a friend’s mum; she used the service. It’s a great local charity that does so much to support people with cancer and their families.

    How Ride for Eric has helped us:

    Last year over 400 participants got involved raising over £10,000 to help fund a bereavement counselling service provided by Cavendish. The event comprises three different routes – a family-orientated 5K route, a 15K route for regular cyclists and a 50K challenge for enthusiasts – starting from Abbeydale Sports Club.
