How do you want to get involved?
Cavendish Cancer Care is a local Sheffield cancer charity, that relies on the generosity and commitment of the public. We could not keep on helping people without the invaluable efforts of volunteers, supporters and friends.
There are lots of ways you could help us to help other people cope with cancer, whether you’re interested in volunteering, fundraising, or something else. Every person like you who gets involved makes a real difference to Cavendish Cancer Care and our community.
There’s no limits to what you could do for Cavendish. We’ve had everything from cake sales and fancy dress days to marathons and skydives! Whatever your interests, fundraise your way and make a difference for local people affected by cancer. You can keep your fundraising local to Sheffield, or turn your challenge into an adventure by going somewhere new. We’ll support you throughout, helping promote your fundraising – and of course providing with you Cavendish vests and T-shirts.

Cavendish Cancer Care couldn’t run on a day to day basis without the support of our amazing volunteers. They range from micro-volunteers, who might come and help us rattle a bucket once or twice a year, to regular volunteers who support us on a weekly or monthly basis at our centre. We’re grateful for every hour of time donated; whether you’re filing documents, sorting data, supporting our reception team, or packing bags at the supermarket!
We are also grateful to receive pro-bono support from generous professionals who offer services, such as web and graphic design, free of charge.
If you are interested in volunteering for us, we’d love to hear from you and can arrange volunteering opportunities that suit your skills and lifestyle.Volunteer for us
