Community & Outreach Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly established post at Cavendish Cancer Care as Community & Outreach Manager. You will be contributing to a key part of the service with responsibility for allocated services across our main centre, outreach and in the community. This includes outreach services within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, a service for patients at the NGS Macmillan Unit at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and a Cancer Information Hub in Sheffield City Centre.
This will require engagement with healthcare professionals and stakeholders, to maintain and build relationships, as well as to identify and support opportunities for development.
You will work with the Volunteer Programme Lead to take responsibility for volunteers and the Cavendish Cancer Buddies scheme, and with the Head of Service to coordinate and promote effective service provision.
Cavendish Cancer Care is a registered charity offering professional care and support, free of charge to people affected by a diagnosis of cancer.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
