Try and Taste Sessions
We’re pleased to be able to offer some in-person small group sessions at our base, the Tim Pryor Centre. These sessions are designed for clients who are new to Cavendish or in the early stages of working with us, and those who would like to find out more about what we do.
Each session offers 45 minutes of learning or advice from one of our expert therapists, followed by a chance to chat over hot drinks and treats! The sessions are free of charge and there is free car parking at the Tim Pryor Centre.
Attending these sessions will not affect any other treatment or 1-2-1 sessions you have planned with us.

Practical Nutrition with Helen, Thursday 8th Feb 10:30-12.00
Learn some simple ways to make meals balanced and healthy and sample Helen’s tasty snacks. Sessions are 1.5 hours including 30-45 minutes for tea and cake and chats!
Moving through Grief with Toby (for cancer related bereavement), Wednesday March 13th 10.00-11:30 am
A safe and supportive space with others who have experienced bereavement through cancer. You are free to share or ask questions if you want to or to simply listen.
Aromatherapy with Marla, Friday April 19th 11.00-12:30pm
Learn about essential oils and how they may benefit health and wellbeing.
Mindfulness and movement with Michelle, Monday May 13th 1.30-3pm (maximum 6 people)
Breathwork, mindfulness and gentle movement which may reduce stress and improve wellbeing.
Herbal medicine with Delphine, Thursday 13th June 10,00- 11:30 am
Come and learn a little about what herbal medicine actually is and how it can safely and gently support and nourish our health. We will be tasting different herbal teas and sharing our thoughts and questions.
Managing Worry with Clare, Wednesday 17th July 10:30am-12,00pm
Understand why we worry and learn simple ways to handle difficult thoughts and feelings.
