Platform Festival 2018

Platform organises performance events to raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care, Over the past 5 years They have raised over £10,000 and each year we are amazed by the work they do. Platform Performance’s main event is the Sheffield University performing arts festival.

Kath gone wild! A year of fundraising…

Kath has been an active Cavendish volunteer for over 17 years after using the centre herself, she's been helping others whilst being on her own journey of fighting & living with two types of cancer. As well as her amazing contributions to volunteering for our centre she's also giving back, over the past year and longer she has set up many different charity fundraisers for us, from cream tea afternoons, to garden party's, dog walks and cocktail masterclasses Kath has so far managed to raise over £10,000 on her Just Giving page!!

Sheffield Together Success!

Our highly anticipated Sheffield Together 2018 event was a success! Despite the snow and thick fog you all managed to make the most of it and have a great day whilst raising money for those facing cancer. Thank you so much to everyone who took part, our runners/ walkers, all of our amazing volunteers and the St John's Ambulance team for braving the conditions.   So far we have raised over £4000 with some sponsorship money still to come in! Thank you to all those who have donated and supported the keen runners.

The Great Gatsby Experience

A Brewery Experience

The event will include a 'Tour and Tasting' session in which attendees will get to see first-hand the process of brewing ales and beers. Later in the evening there will be food on offer, with live acoustic music, a quiz and a raffle. Prizes include a pair of Sheffield United match tickets, afternoon tea and spa day at the Hilton Sheffield plus many more. Sheffield Hallam Staff raise £37,000 for Cavendish
