Miller’s Dale Bridge Abseil Challenge
December 6, 2024
In Partnership with Bold Adventures, they are offering this opportunity to do something exciting whilst raising money for a Cavendish Cancer Care! This is a brilliant chance to take on your fears for charity: whatever your experience, we can provide this challenge to anyone with the determination to get involved!
A bit of info about the location…
Miller’s Dale was once an important railway junction, where passengers for Buxton joined or left the trains between London and Manchester on the old Midland Railway. Since the railway was closed in 1970 the station has become an important car park and access point to local walks.
The hamlet is still dominated by the impressive, massive railway viaducts across the Wye valley here.
Get sponsored to complete this daring adrenaline abseil! From the precipice of a disused railway viaduct, get roped up and step over the edge… Our experienced and qualified leaders make sure to see you through every step of the way, all you need to bring is your determination!
We suggest a £100 sponsorship target plus £15 abseil fee for each person taking part. So get the whole gang along – the more sponsors, the better. What are you waiting for?
Book before Saturday 10th of March 2018 and choose your preferred slot and you’re good to go! The Bold Adventure team are qualified and experienced in all manner of roped activities, making sure that you have a safe and rewarding experience.
