Therapy Programme Lead (Therapist) Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly established post at Cavendish Cancer Care as Therapy Programme Lead (Therapist). You will be contributing to a key part of the service supporting and working directly with patients, carers and families affected by a diagnosis of cancer and during bereavement. This post involves working with patients and carers in the role of complementary therapist or counsellor and also working with the Head of Service to coordinate and promote effective delivery of the service at Cavendish Cancer Care.

Therapies may be delivered either at the main Centre or as part of the Outreach services for in patients at Weston Park Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Macmillan Palliative Care Unit at the Northern General Hospital. Counselling is provided at the main Centre.

Normal Working Hours: 10-15 hours over 2 days per week with occasional need for flexible working Monday to Friday.
