  • Sunset Stomp: Evening Walk and BBQ

Join Cavendish Cancer Care for a fun and invigorating Sunset Stomp on the borders of the beautiful Peak District this summer!

Lace up your walking boots, pull on your wellies or tighten up your trainers.

This beautiful walk will take place outside the Norfolk Arms pub in Ringinglow on Thursday 11th July. Choose from a lovely round route (roughly 10k) on the edge of the Peak District towards Higger Tor and back, or follow a shorter trail (no more than 1 hour). You’ll set off at 5:30pm (arrival from 5:00pm), making it back in time to experience the sunset from the best vantage point – in a pub garden with some delicious gourmet BBQ fare in hand.

Expect a bit of everything from the Sunset Stomp, with a mix of woodland, rocky paths, and some muddy stretches thrown in – all topped off with some of the most stunning scenery this side of Sheffield.

No traffic and no pressure to finish – the only thing you’ll be racing is the sun! Rally the dog, the kids, and the office and explore what’s right on your doorstep. We’ll supply a map for you on the day to guide you on your way, plus something fun to keep the kids entertained en route.

Escape the city smoke and take a walk with us.

Registration for this event is now closed. Please contact us on 0114 275 4070 or email h.iredale@cavcare.org.uk with any questions.
