Swim Britain 2013

Many thanks Paul Thacker and colleagues Andrew Horne, Pete Shaw and Ian Belton who undertook the Swim Britain challenge in aid of us (Left to right Ian, Pete, Andy and Paul).

The team are  from the Corporate Information & Computing Services (CiCS) department at The University of Sheffield. Each team member swam a total of 1km in 250m relays on Sunday 1st September. Their team mentor was Rebecca Adlington OBE but luckily she didn’t need to step in and the team completed the swim in a respectable time.

To date they have raised more than £500 to be split equally between ourselves and Macmillan Cancer Support.
