  • Sheffield Cancer Information Hub Wins National Award

    June 29, 2018

We are incredibly pleased to share that the Sheffield Cancer Information Hub, which has been running at Moor Market for the past few months, has just won the Improving Cancer Outcomes category at the Health+Care Healthcare Transformation Awards.

Described by The Star as a “pioneering cancer drop-in centre”, the Hub has supported over 800 Sheffield citizens since its opening.

Being a part of this project alongside other great causes such as Age UK Sheffield, Weston Park Cancer Information and Support Centre, and the Sheffield Clinical Commission Group (CCG) has been a wonderful opportunity to come together with other organisations and focus on a common goal. It has also been a fantastic opportunity to share our services and support even more people living with cancer in the community.

We believe this service has been groundbreaking in starting conversations about cancer with local people, and we are incredibly proud to have been involved in its conception.

You can find more information on the Hub here.
