  • Ride for Eric this weekend

    September 15, 2014

The inaugural Ride for Eric has been organised by his friends, family and colleagues to mark the life of an amazing man, and to highlight road safety awareness in Sheffield and beyond. Sadly Eric was killed by a reckless driver whilst out on his Sunday ride in early November 2013. Please watch the short film from Eric’s wife Karen talking about the devastating effect his loss has had on her families life.

The three courses that have been put together aim to attract all people who enjoy cycling or who simply want to be part of a great event. The 6K is aimed at novices and family groups, the 16K at those who want a challenge but are new to cycling, or who haven’t been out on their bike in a long time, the 50K is for the club cyclist or regular cyclist. There’s still time to get involved sign up today at www.rideforeric.com
