  • Over £13,000 raised for charity at Tramlines 2019

    June 24, 2020

    Our friends over at Tramlines have recently announced a fantastic £13000 raised for their chosen charities at Tramlines 2019. Your generous donation in memory of festival director Sarah Nulty will make such a difference to the families we support.

    Take a look at their story below;

    A MASSIVE thank you!

    2019 was a wonderful year for Tramlines festival, glorious sunshine welcomed the likes of Johnny Marr, Nile rogers ft Chic, The Courteeners, Two Door Cinema Club, Lewis Capaldi and many more. We can now reveal it raised an incredible. £13,900 for charity.

    2018 saw record donations to Weston Park Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care, we wanted to continue donating to these great causes whilst also working alongside some other great local charities, these include Sheffield Young Carers, The Poppy Appeal and Snowdrop Project.

    Speaking on the donations for 2019, Cavendish Cancer Care CEO, Emma Draper commented “We are over the moon at the continued support from Tramlines these past few years. Not only the fantastic fundraising they have done, they have helped us be seen by more families across the region who need our support. Their recent donation will help us continue to provide our therapy services to those who need us now, more than ever,  to ensure no one faces cancer alone.”

    We fundraised through our Guest List donations, Nulty’s Bar – a back stage bar dedicated to our late festival Director, Sarah Nulty who sadly passed away just before the festival in 2018, and our Be More Nulty T-Shirts that were on sale over the weekend in our Merch tent.

    It now means that Tramlines Festival has raised over £40,000 for local charities in the past two years and we’re proud to be working alongside some wonderful organisations that are doing important work in and around Sheffield.

    Side note: With the 2020 event not going ahead, we still want to be able to work with some great local causes, so tomorrow we’ll be releasing our ‘Chari-Tees’, which you’ll be able to pre-order on our online store! Keep an eye on our socials for the link!

    Much love
