  • ‘Local at Local’ Music event raises £400 for us!

    August 16, 2016

Local venue and nightclub, Corporation, launched their new ‘Local at Local’ on the first night of this year’s Tramlines festival. Due to its success, it’s set to become a regular event raising money for us!

The launch event took place at Corporation’s new Local Authority stage (also known as the White Room), a 350-capacity venue located on Eldon Street. The line-up featured a range of alternative and rock artists including the locally-based bands, O Captain, and headliners, Deadset Dream.

Corporation owner, Mark Hobson and Promoter, Stuart Turner, raised £400 for Cavendish Cancer Care.

Corporation owner, Mark Hobson, said: “It’s great that Corporation’s new gig space is being put to such good use. In addition to giving local artists the opportunity to perform at Tramlines festival, we were able to offer our help to Cavendish Cancer Care’s invaluable work in providing much-needed support to families in South Yorkshire who are affected by cancer.

We hope to continue working with both Cavendish Cancer Care to make similar events in the future.”
