  • Dallas: My Cavendish in 25 Words

    January 5, 2016

To celebrate our 25th year, our staff, therapists, volunteers and board have shared 25 words about what Cavendish Cancer Care means to them.

    Dallas-McDadeDallas McDade:

Dallas came into the fold in 2003 when she was diagnosed with cancer. After her initial treatment she returned to work as a teacher, but soon discovered she was not the same person. However, this coincided with the Cavendish Centre needing admin support and now she is in Finance supporting Jane.

She felt archie elfthat in whatever way she could that she needed to help keep the doors open for others who would hear that same awful word.

Life is good, shared with her dog Archie, who features regularly in Cavendish pictures!

Here are Dallas’ 25 words about what Cavendish means to her:

“The road back would have been much longer.

Cavendish helped me stay connected to family and friends, and find strength to follow a different path.”
