Clare’s White Peak Marathon

Many thanks to Cavendish therapist Clare who is taking on the challenge of The White Peak Marathon. The White Peak Marathon  follows the traditional 26 mile route from Thorpe to Cromford Meadows following first the Tissington Trail to Parsley Hay, then the High Peak Trail to Cromford.

Clare says

“So, MARATHON! Never thought I’d do one and can’t quite believe I’m doing one now. ”

I am a Complementary Therapist with Cavendish Cancer Care and see first hand the enormous benefit that our service provides to people with cancer and their main carers and I’d like to show my support by doing this marathon.

“Let me tell you, it’s not easy! The training is challenging me and I’m having to really dig deep. I am spurred on thinking about the courage and tenacity of the people I work with, it puts everything into perspective and I’m getting my head down and just doing it! ”
