Cavendish Cancer Care Launches Scented Candle Range

Cavendish Cancer Care has collaborated with local artisan candle-maker ‘Getting On Me Wick’ to launch a stunning range of scented items for the home, which will be sold to raise money for the charity.

The items include a scented candle and a matching reed diffuser, scented with pure essential oils of lemongrass, lavender, and bergamot to produce a fresh and uplifting scent. Cavendish’s own aromatherapist has worked with ‘Getting On Me Wick’ to conjure up the scent, based on the types of oils and aromas used in therapeutic aromatherapy massages with clients at the Tim Pryor Centre.

Getting On Me Wick is kindly donating £5 from each candle and £3 from each reed diffuser sold to the charity, which supports anyone affected by cancer by offering complementary therapies, counselling and online support.

The candles are hand-poured in Sheffield using vegan soy wax and pure essential oils, so the products are non-toxic and offer a cleaner burn with no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants, unlike many cheaper candles.  The reed diffuser also uses pure essential oils and features black fibre sticks for a luxe look.  The items are presented in plastic-free packaging and make an ideal Christmas gift.

Each item is £16.00 each, or you can buy both for £30.00, which includes the donation to Cavendish Cancer Care.
