  • Atherton Godfrey to be Partner Sponsor for Sheffield Together!

    January 10, 2020

The Sheffield Together run/walk is coming up fast and we’re over the moon that Atherton Godfrey will be Partner Sponsor for the event!
Atherton Godfrey are an award-winning legal firm, and are hugely supportive of Cavendish Cancer Care. The team have joined us at our fundraising events, volunteered with us at Christmas, and now we’re delighted that they will be offering their generosity to our popular Sheffield Together run/walk through Ecclesall Woods.
Matthew Gascoyne, Senior Solicitor, says, “I and all at Atherton Godfrey are extremely proud to sponsor Cavendish Cancer Care and Sheffield Together. A diagnosis of cancer brings its own worries and concerns on top of those from everyday life. The care and support provided by Cavendish to people living with cancer, and their families, is invaluable and we are delighted to be able work together to support this. Sheffield Together will be a fun way to get involved and raise funds for vital Cavendish services.”
Atherton Godfrey are based in Yorkshire and are ranked in the Legal 500 for highly recommended firms. Their strength lies in providing no nonsense legal advice, in a way that’s easy to understand. Whether it’s a will, injury compensation, family issues, buying property or running a business, their highly accredited legal team has all the knowledge and skills to be able to offer the seamless service that today’s busy lifestyle demands. Our fundraising events are vital for the charity. They help us to reach out to supporters old and new whilst raising money for our cancer care services. But the success of events like Sheffield Together rely on all sorts of things that cost the charity money. With the partnership of the Atherton Godfrey team, 2020’s Sheffield Together is sure to be the funnest, liveliest (and still muddiest…) one yet.
