Another fantastic year with M&S Fargate

We have had another fantastic year partnering with Marks and Spencer on Fargate in Sheffield. Through the hard work of amazing Cavendish volunteers plus the consistent generosity of the customers in store we’ve had a brilliant year bag packing. We were joined by some brilliant local choirs over our Christmas campaign the the festive cheer raised more than £3000 over just three days.  This combined with the support of the staff fundraising for us and taking on challenges such as the Yorkshire 3 peaks  means we have a fantastic total of just over £21,000.

We enjoyed an unprecedented second year partnership with the Fargate store, with this being the first time they have ever retained the same charity partner.  Our total raised over this period £38,000 which will fully cover the costs of 100 people to be supported by individulised packages of care and therapy byu Cavendish Cancer Care. Although we are sad that the store has chosen a new charity partner we are extremely grateful for their support and hope to be back with them again in the future.
