  • 3 men (& friends) in a boat

    August 6, 2013

A ten-week challenge will see 34 people rowing the length of the Thames, modelled on Jerome K Jerome’s route from Oxford to Kingston. Teams of 3 comprising of both men and women will take part in this challenge to raise money for us. The mileage per rower will vary according to ability; some teams are dividing the distance between 3 whereas others will row between 150-300km each. The majority of the distance will be completed on indoor rowing machines. Some teams will also complete some of the distance on the water at Damflask reservoir.

Pictured (left) is Emma Brace, 34, Sheffield who is rowing 300km alone and her team mate Sarah.

To support the charity, and the participants, there are 3 just giving pages available for donation.
