Top 5 Remote Fundraising Ideas

Are you and your team working from home? Perhaps you’re back in the office or working on rotation?

The last few months have completely changed the way fundraising may look in the future but that doesn’t mean it needs to stop. Charities can’t allow it to stop. We still need your support otherwise our service will be dramatically affected.

We’ve been inspired and in awe at some of the ways companies have adopted the ‘think outside the box’ strategy and continued to raise a bit of cash for charity. So much so, we’ve put together a top 5 list to hopefully inspire you too!

1.Virtual Bucket Collection

Set up a JustGiving campaign and set each of your employees a target to shake their virtual bucket by asking friends and family to share the link and donate. Better yet, would your company match fund their hard work?

2. Sweep Stake

With the return of sport coming to our screens in the coming weeks, put together a sweep stake for the end of the Premier League season (or individual matches!), the next Formula 1 races or even the traditional horse racing.

3. Picture Competition

An office favourite. Whether its baby photos, plants you’ve been growing or who can take the best picture on their daily walk? Donate an entry fee and the winner gets a prize!

4. Host a Dress Up Friday or Virtual Bake Sale.

There’s no need to cancel those favourite days in the office!

5. Virtual Cocktail Class or Beer/Wine Tasting

Put an ingredients list together, or even send them directly to your staff, and you can all make the same drink! Why not get a local company involved too?
