Thanks to Rebecca and HSBC

Rebecca Barrett, ran the Great Yorkshire Run to thank Cavendish Cancer Care for the support they gave to her family.

Rebecca, who works for HSBC in their Hoyle Street building, said: “Cancer is a horrible thing for a family to face and it hit us hard. I’m not exactly a keen runner – I only started training in February, but I’m was determined to do this raise funds to help other people who need to turn to Cavendish for support.”

With matched funding from her employer HSBC Rebecca has raised more than £1200 which will keep the door open to other local families who need to turn to Cavendish Cancer Care for support.
