Edale Skyline

Simon Davis of Gripple Ltd took on the challenge of the Edale Skyline and raised almost £500 to support our work. The Don Morrison Memorial Edale Skyline Fell Race has been going since 1974. It is a long, tough, early season race, with often challenging conditions. This long fell race is run over 20 miles on an unmarked course, covering high and exposed fell terrain in potential harsh conditions. Suitable experience is required including two qualification races and a proven a ability to navigate the terrain. In short this is no ordinary long run.

Simon completed the race in just under 4 and a half hours coming a respectable 118 out of the 232 who completed this serious event.
