A Christmas celebration of 2024
Merry Christmas from the Cavendish Wellbeing team! 🎄
As 2024 draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on an incredible year of growth, collaboration, and innovation at Cavendish Wellbeing. It has been a year of new beginnings, strengthened partnerships, and unwavering dedication to improving workplace wellbeing across South Yorkshire and beyond. From expanding our team to launching new initiatives, we have so much to celebrate and so many people to thank. Here’s a look back at 2024: the people, the progress, and the partnerships that have defined it.
We expanded our team!
The heartbeat of Cavendish Wellbeing is, and always will be, our people. This year, we took a major step forward with the creation of our Advisory Board. Bringing together the expertise of Tristan Cowell, Alex Hill, Emma Conroy, and Rachel Storey, the board has been instrumental in steering us towards new opportunities and ensuring we remain at the forefront of workplace wellbeing. Their impact has been profound, and we’re so grateful for their time, commitment, and belief in our mission.
We also welcomed Charley Whitehead, our Sales and Marketing Executive, who joined the team in March. Charley has brought boundless creativity and enthusiasm to Cavendish Wellbeing, helping us grow our community, develop exciting initiatives, and engage new audiences. From sparking partnerships to creating inspiring content, Charley has made a fantastic impact this year.
Strengthened partnerships across South Yorkshire
Collaboration has been at the heart of everything we’ve achieved in 2024. We’ve worked alongside incredible organisations to deliver meaningful, lasting change in workplaces and communities.
Our partnership with Spire Claremont Hospital has been a shining example of what can be achieved when we work together. Through expert-led health talks on important topics like men’s and woman’s health, we’ve not only empowered attendees with valuable knowledge but also raised vital funds for Cavendish Cancer Care.
Another highlight has been working with Sheffield City Council to make mental health first aid training more accessible. Together, we’ve offered funded places to ensure businesses across the region have the tools they need to support their employees’ wellbeing.
This year also saw us join forces with The Fitness Truck®, rolling out a 12-month programme that combines weekly fitness sessions with monthly coaching on resilience, stress management, and more. This collaboration has been a brilliant example of how physical and mental wellbeing can go hand in hand—and we’re excited to see it grow even further in 2025.
Introduced new products to support wellbeing
This year, we’ve worked hard to expand our services and respond to the needs of workplaces across South Yorkshire and beyond. Listening to our clients and building on our team’s expertise, we’ve developed new products designed to address the challenges that organisations and their people face today.
Our Mental Health First Aid training courses have been a cornerstone of this effort, equipping workplaces with the skills to identify and address mental health challenges.
Meanwhile, our 12-month wellbeing program offers a comprehensive approach to improving workplace culture, combining expert talks, tailored workshops, and practical strategies to make a lasting difference.
We were also delighted to launch “Let’s Hear from the Experts”, a partnership with Spire Claremont Hospital that brings leading consultants directly into workplaces. These sessions tackle important health topics while raising funds for Cavendish Cancer Care, ensuring every workplace benefits from valuable knowledge while supporting an incredible cause.
This year also saw the introduction of our FREE Wellbeing Strategy Calls. These 30-minute sessions are designed for businesses looking to take the first step in their wellbeing journey, offering tailored advice and practical solutions to create healthier, happier workplace cultures.
Our Wellbeing Blog has become a cornerstone of our mission to educate and inspire, sharing insights on topics ranging from managing stress to navigating workplace dynamics. It’s been wonderful to see how much our readers have taken away from these pieces, and we’re excited to continue sharing more in 2025.
These initiatives are just the beginning. As we move into 2025, we’re committed to continuing our work in developing innovative, impactful products that meet the needs of businesses and their people. We can’t wait to see how these offerings continue to grow and make a difference in the years ahead.
Thank you to everyone who made this year possible
As the year comes to an end, we want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has supported us in 2024. Whether you’ve partnered with us, attended one of our sessions, raised funds for Cavendish Cancer Care, or simply cheered us on, your belief in our mission has made all the difference.
Your contributions have helped us transform workplaces and support individuals when they need it most. Together, we’re creating healthier, happier teams while ensuring Cavendish Cancer Care can continue its life-changing work for those affected by cancer, and their surrounding network.
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re filled with excitement for what’s to come. There’s so much more to do, and we’re ready to keep innovating, collaborating, and expanding our impact.
From all of us at Cavendish Wellbeing, we wish you a joyful and restful festive season. Here’s to another year of improving lives, one workplace at a time.
Warmest wishes,
The Cavendish Wellbeing Team
