Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park

Our sports park on Bawtry Road is open to any student with an interest in sport.

The £6 million development has international-standard football and rugby pitches with floodlights, along with artificial 3G pitches. It’s one of the best outdoor multi-sports facilities in Yorkshire.

And if you want to cheer on our side, the Graham Solley Pavilion has a great balcony where you can watch the game while enjoying refreshments.

As well as our students the sports park is also used by local community teams playing a range of sports, including Sheffield United Cricket Club.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday – 9am–10pm
Saturday and Sunday – 9am–6pm

How to get there

Car – the grounds are located on Bawtry Road (A631 towards Bawtry) approximately one mile from M1 Junction 34 at the south end of the Tinsley viaduct. There is plenty of car parking alongside the main building.

Bus – take the 69 bus from Sheffield city centre (bus station or Arundel Gate).
