Fashion show success at Sister

Staff and customers at Sister boutique on Ecclesall Road raised over £1000 for us in a fashion show recently.

Guests were greeted at both the 1pm & 7pm show (a whopping total of 90 shoppers!) with a complimentary glass of bubbly and a divine goody bag for purchases over £200. Bids were made for the silent auction, and designer raffle prizes were to be worn – making a grand total of £1,010 raised for Cavendish Cancer Care.

The fashion show scenes were as follows; Nostalgic 70s, Ladies at Lunch, That’s a Wrap, Knitwear, Are you Fur Real? Check it Out, Night out with Friends, and the grand finale of occasion wear featuring Bernshaw dresses – a renowned designer label that has completed its final ever winter range.

Victoria Wood, Fundraiser at Cavendish Cancer Care said: “We are thrilled at the amount raised by Sister! As an independent charity, we rely on events like this to raise vital funds and we couldn’t keep going without the generous support of our local community.”
