UK and Overseas Challenge
The generosity and support of local people and organisations is crucial to keeping our therapies free for the 1,700 families we care for each year. We know that everyone’s experience is different, and believe that no one should face cancer alone. We work to improve the quality of life for people living with cancer, as well as that of their families, by providing bespoke physical and emotional support when they need it most.
Join us in October 2025 as we take a team of Cav supporters up Mount Kilimanjaro (Lemosho Glades Route).
You will follow the Lemosho Glades route to the true summit of Kilimanjaro – Uhuru Peak. Kilimanjaro is a giant, snow-capped volcano rising spectacularly from the dusty plains in Tanzania. Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest mountain and one of the coveted ‘Seven Summits’. It is the least difficult of these mountains and a superb challenge for fit walkers.
The challenge is set to take place in late Sept/early Oct 2025 and takes 10 days (including travel).
If you’re interested in joining, please contact Kirsty on k.white@cavcare.org.uk for more information.
