Magnifique! Sandra rode from Leeds to Paris!

Huge congratulations are in order for our long-time supporter Sandra Nundy, who has completed a mammoth cycle ride from Leeds to Paris!

Sandra’s fundraising total currently stands at over £2,300 – with donations still coming in. Here’s Sandra’s story, in her own words, and why she chooses to support Cavendish Cancer Care:

“My late husband Roy and I received invaluable support from Cavendish Cancer Care, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer.

As anyone who has lived with Cancer can understand it’s not only the physical effects that are hard to deal with but also the emotional strain. The reflexology sessions that Roy received enhanced his life immeasurably, easing his pain he was able to live life to the full on his own terms and we were able to continue enjoying our life together.

After Roy passed away the team at the Cavendish Centre in Sheffield provided me with emotional healing enabling me to continue my life with positive and happy memories.”
