Abbeydale Park Sports Club

Abbeydale Sports Club – combining sporting prowess with a function and conference business. Our aim is to encourage everyone to participate in sport, regardless of age or ability.

There are 7 different sports that operate from the Club and we are the home of Sheffield Rugby Union Football Club, Sheffield Hockey Club and Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club.

We are a community based sports club which strives to promote and develop sport to people of all ages – The University of the Third Age (U3A) meet and play here every week. We provide first class coaching in all sports for young people to ensure pathways to regional and national success. Recent graduates from our cricket academy include England batsman, Joe Root.

Our unrivalled surroundings and facilities sees Abbeydale Sports Club as a great location for weddings, events, family celebrations and corporate functions. With a number of meeting rooms available and a function room with private bar that can accommodate up to 150 people for dinner / buffet event, we are experienced in holding weddings, birthdays and meetings & training events for companies large and small.

The new Clubhouse lounge and bar overlooks the first team cricket and rugby pitches and you can sit in comfortable surroundings and watch big-screen SKY TV and BT Sport and enjoy a range of drinks including hand pulled ales.
