Brave Cavendish supporters take on 100ft abseil!
March 12, 2018
This weekend our long awaited (and maybe dreaded) 100 ft abseil from the Monsal Head bridge took place, and everyone impressively faced their fears to take on the leap of faith…
One of those brave few was Cavendish’s own Denise Crisell of the fundraising team, despite her great fear of heights and vertical drops she accepted the challenge and has so far managed to raise over £1000 on her Just Giving page in memory of her friend and past colleague Stewart Tomlinson, well done Denise!
If you have any more photos we’d love to see them, tag us in your social media posts with @cavcancercare or email them to us at fundraising@cavcare.org.uk
We’d like to thank everyone involved for making the day a success, all of the incredible people who took on the abseil, all of the sponsors and of course the team at BOLD adventures for ensuring everyone was in safe hands. We had a brilliant time watching everyone take on the challenge and we hope you can say the same, knowing that it was for a great cause!
We still have plenty more events for Cavendish coming up this month, head to our news and events page to find out more, trust us when we say there’s something there for everyone!
