    Let’s Talk about Cancer

“We are concerned about our ability to provide the right emotional support.”

“We’re a tough manufacturing culture. We don’t do soft and fluffy very well.”

“I just don’t know what to say. I don’t want to put my foot in it and make things worse.”

    Sound familiar? We can help.

We know 1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer in their lifetime, which could be as much as 50% of your workforce.

But what happens when someone tells you they have cancer; do you freeze, grab the policy booklet and figure out ‘the plan’?

We’re here to help you do the human stuff, just like we do, how your language, actions and approach will impact that person and the rest of the company. We’ll help equip delegates with the skills and confidence to support those affected by cancer, be it with family, friends of colleagues.

    Let’s Talk about Rest

Through our corporate partnerships and research we know that fatigue and poor sleep are key concerns for your teams.

Research also shows that despite more than 12 million people in the UK suffering with burnout symptoms less than a quarter of employees believe their company can spot the signs and help prevent the onset of burnout and chronic stress affecting performance and wellbeing.

In our session “Let’s Talk About Rest” we present the different types of rest we all need along with  tips on developing good sleep practices and making restorative rest part of your routine. We’ll help you spot the signs of burnout and see the benefits of an energised team.

Do you sometimes wonder why after a great night’s sleep you still feel exhausted?

Do you feel worn out but keep plodding on with your same routine?

Perhaps you need improved sleep habits or perhaps you need to recharge in a different way, sleep and rest are not the same thing.
