  • Trustee Vacancies

    July 27, 2016

For the last 25 years we’ve been providing practical and emotional support to around 1,500 local families affected by cancer each year in order to ensure they have the best possible quality of life, no matter what the eventual outcome.  Our door is always open to anyone who needs our support, but with more people than ever before living with and beyond cancer, our challenge is to be there for everyone who might benefit from our support, and to have the resources to do this for the next 25 years.

Our Board of Trustees are critical to us achieving our ambition and we are fortunate to benefit from a wealth of skills and experience. After almost 30 years collective service between them a number of our Trustees, including our Chair and Vice-Chair, are taking our anniversary year as a chance to step down and we are therefore looking for new friends, who share our values, to join us in the challenge ahead. We would be particularly interested to hear from people with a background in medicine, health and social care or business, but have some flexibility based on your own experience.

For an informal conversation about the roles available, including the Chair, please email Chris Farrell c.farrell@cavcare.org.uk in order to arrange a mutually convenient time to talk.
