After weeks of anticipation, the Percy Pud 10k finally happened last Sunday! The day was a huge success. We even had an Olympian in our midst – Eilish McColgan, who competed in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. She broke a 12 year record on Sunday, finishing in 32:32! Our very own CEO, Chris Farrell, took to the tarmac as well!

But above all, we’re incredibly proud of Team Cavendish. Everyone gave it their best shot, with a lot of people far exceeding their expected race time. We are especially impressed by our fastest three runners this year: Dan Clarke (49:24), Mike Taylor (41:44) and Jon Seymour, who finished in an incredible 41:36!

2016 was the 24th annual Percy Pud, the race now famous amongst Sheffield runners for handing out Christmas puddings to all its finishers.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to all our runners for their hard work and for the money they raised. And, of course, thank you to Steel City Striders for choosing to support us!
