  • Cavendish Nutrition Sessions: Eating for Energy

    April 20, 2021

Eating to Maximise Energy – Tuesday 20th April 10-11:30 am with Helen Ruckledge

Maximising energy is especially important after a cancer diagnosis to improve fatigue, concentration, mood, sleep and productivity. To do this, learning how to keep blood sugar stable is vital. Understanding the importance of hydration and how certain drinks impact energy levels, is also crucial.

This session would benefit everyone who is struggling with fatigue, low mood and/or feel they are on a ‘sugar rollercoaster’, with or without a cancer diagnosis.

Our therapy team have worked tirelessly over the last year bringing as many of our services online and developing new ones for cancer patients and their families who seek our help and support.

At Cavendish Cancer Care we have spent the last 20 years talking to patients and loved ones about their concerns, dilemmas and difficulties with diet. Using this expertise we have recently launched a new element of support as part of our free of charge core service, Cavendish Nutrition Sessions, which are a delivered online by our experienced team of Clare, Delphine and Helen.

However we know people who have been supported by us may be interested in accessing these sessions. So if you have previously accessed support from Cavendish Cancer Care and would like to come along to one or all of the nutrition sessions you may do so in return for a small donation. Please email info@cavcare.org.uk for more information or to book on.
